no matter HOW LARGE OR SMALL A PROJECT MAY BE, OUR PROCESS IS ALWAYS CAREFULLY STRUCTURED TO transform ABSTRACT IDEAS INTO tangible, BUILT SPACEs. WE WORK WITH OUR CLIENTS TO BUILD trust and ENSURE THAT THEY FEEL CONFIDENT AND SUPPORTED THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS.
STAGE 1 - FEASIBILITY design
During the first stage of the design process, we undertake a detailed briefing session to clearly outline the project requirements which are then analysed to establish the creative direction. Through the use of mood boards and design pillars, the project narrative is defined to set a clear foundation for the rest of the design process.
STAGE 2 - CONCEPT design
During this phase, the initial ideas from the Feasibility Design are developed into a clear and comprehensive design proposal including detailed visuals, space plans, material palettes, and furniture and lighting specifications. It is at this stage that the full project design concept is agreed.
STAGE 3 - SCHEMATIC DESIGN
This stage in the design process focuses on refining the approved concept design into a detailed and coordinated set of documents that can be priced by contractors. This includes general arrangement plans, internal elevations and finishes, fixtures and lighting schedules.
STAGE 4 - TECHNICAL design
During this stage, the tenders are reviewed and all technical aspects of the design are resolved with the appointed contractor to ensure that the design can be built as intended. Any value engineering or design revisions are made if required, prior to construction commencing.
STAGE 5 - CONSTRUCTION
This stage is about managing the physical realisation of
the design, ensuring quality control, addressing any on-site issues and ensuring that the project progresses according to the approved strategy with the appointed contractor.
STAGE 6 - HANDOVER
This is the final stage in the design process, marking the completion of the project. At this stage, all furniture and styling elements must be installed, quality checks are completed and any snagging issues are resolved to ensure that the design vision is realised.
